SymplyPRO DIT Thunderbolt Desktop features a single LTO-7 Half-Height Tape Drive with both Thunderbolt 3 & 12Gb SAS (SFF-8644) Host Interfaces, 2 x 2.5" SSD Docking Bays, and a 12Gb SAS (SFF-8644) Expansion port in a sleek space grey rugged metal alloy enclosure. Dual Thunderbolt 3 ports support both device charging & daisy chaining. 2.5" SSD that are docked to the 2.5” drive bays, or SAS drives connected via the 12Gb SAS (SFF-8644) Expansion Port are bridged to Thunderbolt by the SymplyPRO DIT. LTO-7 boasts a native capacity of 6TB (15TB compressed) and native performance of 300MB/Sec (750MB/Sec compressed), supports 256-bit encryption along with WORM media. Compatible with LTFS (Linear Tape File System) making backup and archive operations easier to an open source and interchangeable tape format.
